6 weeks

Emerson turned 6 weeks old this past Wednesday. Wow, how time flies!! She is much more alert now and had her very first "real" smile this past Monday!! It was the sweetest thing I have ever seen. I have tried endlessly to capture the all gum smile, but these are as close as I have gotten so far. She is such a joy and makes my day every single day!!! My parents came to Dallas New Year's Eve and watched Emerson while Clark and I went to grab a quick dinner with some friends. It was our first time to go to dinner without her and it went great. After we came home my dad and Emerson enjoyed a little time in the recliner...both out like a light! :)
